I'll be your guide
I'm a Copywriter and Brand Strategist with a lengthy and decidedly unglamorous background in Public Relations. I started this business of mine because I wanted to spend my days playing to my strengths and helping others play to theirs.
My strengths happen to be: strategic planning, writing, and editing for maximum impact. I’d love to hear about yours - and how I can help put your business in the spotlight.
A little background on me
Prior to going out on my own, I spent over 15 years in Public Relations, working in both the public and private sector. My career, which started at global PR firm Hill & Knowlton, has spanned a variety of disciplines, including:
Public Affairs/Government and Media Relations
My various roles have given me insight into a range of people, places and industries, from public transport and construction to real estate, education, health, and consumer lifestyle. They've also helped me identify the things I do best.
Well, that’s an easy one to answer. Working with me, you get:
an experienced professional who loves her work, and is willing to spend quality time thinking deeply about your business and what needs to be done to achieve your goals
agency experience, without the agency price tag
me - and only me - working on your content or strategy (no juniors, no outsourcing)
access to my little black book of tried and tested creatives (web designers, graphic designers, photographers and video producers)
plenty of good humour along the way.
Who do I work for?
In the past, I’ve worked with major brands, such as UNSW, RSVP, Domain, Commonwealth Bank, Caltex and Jaguar, and I’ve worked on some of Australia’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects, including the Sydney Metro and Light Rail.
Today I work for the love of small business. I focus on small companies and solo business owners who appreciate the value of professional advice, and who want an experienced hand to help their business hit new heights.
Not all of my clients are Sydney-based like me either, so don’t be shy about getting in touch if you’re further afield. The tyranny of distance is no longer a thing.
